Shara Sharmin, the Treasurer of CAMP – Los Angeles, is determined to utilize the financial savvy that she has acquired through her solid experience in the business world to help guide this rapidly-growing organization in the right direction. Ms. Sharmin is currently a Project Accountant for the commercial real estate powerhouse, Arden Realty, and is a strong believer of the position that Muslim women need to make their voices heard in the corporate world. Prior to joining Arden, Ms. Sharmin worked for several other corporate Giants, including Washington Mutual and Merrill Lynch. Ms. Sharmin completed her education from the respected School of Business at the University of South Carolina in 2002, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a double major in Marketing and Finance. In addition to pursuing a career, Ms. Sharmin is able to find time for her role as a devoted wife. She is married to Shameem Hasan, senior partner of the law firm, Hasan & Samson. In her spare time, Ms. Sharmin enjoys engaging in creative activities, such as art/crafts, cooking.
