To provide some insight on important career considerations for the students of our Islamic Schools.

These are the questions haunting the youth of today....

Format of the program

It is intended to be a 1 hour program with 6-8 minute presentations by at most 6 professionals about their chosen professions.

• A 6-8 minute Speech by each professional
• Q & A session with the professional
• A brief powerpoint presentation with graphics to go along with the speech
• Handouts with pertinent information about the different careers

What sort of info will be provided?

• Introduction to a career - For example What does a civil engineer basically do?
• Education and Experience Requirements for a particular career, Level of interest
• Opportunities for that career - in USA in general and in Kansas and Missouri in particular
• Expected Challenges
• Joys/Benefits/Advantages in pursuing a particular career
